Quality User Experience for All Devices
Your website is the central hub to your online marketing plan. Without a quality web presence, you risk losing clients before you have a chance to interact with them.
Having a professional website that reflects your company in all aspects of the business and makes it easy for your prospects to find and connect with you on their terms, will help you attract more visitors and turn them into customers.
For clients who work with me on their marketing efforts, I provide a custom designed, responsive WordPress website. I use the premium theme framework GeneratePress by Tom Usborne.
For page layout, I either use Siteorigin Page Builder or the new WordPress block editor to create your design. This ensures your online marketing efforts get off on the right foot.
GeneratePress is lightweight, highly customizable, responsive and powerful, reducing the need for custom development. GenerateBlocks plugin also by Tom Usborne provides additional page builder type features to the WordPress block editor. Siteorigin Page Builder is one of the easiest page builders to use and provides some powerful features even in the free version. The premium add-ons provide even more rich capabilities.

Mobile Friendly – No Longer an Option
I only offer WordPress website development services because it makes it easy for you to update and maintain a fresh quality web presence. I highly recommend that small business owners use the self-hosted WordPress platform for their site because:
- It is a comprehensive content management system in addition to blogging platform, enabling you to create a powerful site
- It is easy to use, helping you keep the content fresh and relevant for readers
- Theme and plugin developers stay current on the latest trends, getting you responsive design, eCommerce support, membership sites and more without hiring a developer
- There are many WordPress web developers available to help you make changes when you need a bit of technical help
- And it’s provided as a free add-on as part of your hosting environment!
Mobile has caused a major shift in buyer behavior. According to research, mobile search is goal-oriented and conducted to help make a decision. Regardless of whether the buyer is searching for a new set of headphones or a new product for their business, they are utilizing their mobile devices to search, learn about and buy these products and services.
If your website isn’t mobile friendly, your business may not be visible to those searching on their smartphone. According to Google, mobile pages that provide a poor searcher experience could be demoted in rankings or displayed with a warning in mobile search results.
Marketing First, Technology Second
The benefit of working with me on your web presence is that we focus on the marketing aspects while developing your site, ensuring you can deliver your message in a quality web environment while enabling you to maintain and update it yourself. I help you take control of all aspects of your online presence so that you can ensure your image is projected accurately to the world.
Plus all our WordPress websites include keyword phrase analysis and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) as an integral part of the project to ensure your website is found by someone searching for what you have to offer. You can be sure that your website project will have the marketing elements required for it to be found by your target audience.
But technology is still important. Besides only working with WordPress and the two theme frameworks listed above, we only recommend hosting companies that provide the Let’s Encrypt SSL certificates. Let’s Encrypt is a certificate authority that provides free X.509 certificates for Transport Layer Security (TLS) encryption . They have implemented an automated process designed to eliminate the complexities of manual creation, validation, signing, installation, and renewal of certificates for secure websites.
Ensuring your website is secured with encryption is not only good for your visitors, it is also good for your search engine rankings. Soon, visiting a website using an HTTP connection will prompt the message “Not secure” in the web browser’s address bar. This could deter users from spending time on your website, making your business look out of touch and losing potential customers. Google has already been using the presence of an SSL certificate as a ranking signal and rewards secure sites with small ranking boosts.
Just wanted to drop you a quick note to say that I’m so happy with my website these days! It’s finally become what I envisioned years ago. The content is there, the organization makes sense, and the design is attractive. It’s getting a weight of authority about it and I’m delighted. Thanks again for all your help!
