As business owners, we know the value of networking and expanding your ability to network using online social media opens you up to a larger world of possibilities. The time is right to add Twitter to your networking mix and gain valuable connections and relationships, but there are rules, just as there are when you are attending a face-to-face networking event.

I occasionally have conversations with people who debunk the value and power of social media. They seem to think that some people hide behind social media to avoid actually meeting people in person.
