Social Media Marketing Workshop

I’m scheduled to present a 2 hour workshop on Social Media Marketing on March 19th from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. for the Holliston Adult Education. This presentation, entitled “Social Media: Marketing for a New Era” will cover what tools are available and how to use them to develop your personal brand.

I plan on talking about blogs, podcasts and social networks such as LinkedIn, Facebook and yes, now my newest endeavor into social media land - Twitter. I’ve signed up and am following a few of the folks whose blogs I follow. Now I get to follow them (and in a few cases they are following me) in the daily happenings.

In two hours, I’m only going to be able to introduce these tools and how they are used for marketing to whet the appetite. But the more I dive into social media, the more fascinating I find it. I’m looking forward to getting more and more involved in social media, not only for my own business but for many of my clients.
