Facebook Marketing that Connects

Here’s a great video produced by the Facebook Marketing team with testimonials from Sephora, Levis, M&M Mars and Pedigree.

“As other forms of marketing overtime decline in terms of their usage rate and open rate … we look to Facebook as a way to offset that ability to communicate with clients and a way to reach out to them in a very real, very genuine, fun, exciting and engaging way.” – Julie Bernstein, Sr. Vice President, Sephora Direct.

Facebook marketing (social media marketing in general) can help most businesses gain visibility within their target market and give you the chance to speak with your audience directly.

What’s your plan to incorporate Facebook marketing into your marketing plan?

Thanks for posting this inspiring and informative video on how to use facebook for marketing.

I’m considering ‘targeted facebook ads’ for my business. And I think, facebook demographic info is more accurate unlike in other surveys, since people generally post their real info in facebook since they are connecting with their family and real friends, business, and social connections.

I have a lot of pdfs and books about facebook marketing but learning more about it through this video was a lot quicker and more fun!

For businesses that have answered the “why” part of social markets and have moved on to the “how” part of it, keeping those fans and followers engaged once you get them is always difficult. Obviously, blasting them with advertisement and specials cause them to begin looking right past your company posts. Here is a new approach to engage them and build their enthusiasm towards your brand.
We have developed First2Click (http://www.First2Click.net) to help companies interact with their Facebook and Twitter users in an exciting and enthusiastic way. It is a Social Contest site that allows a company to have giveaways targeting their FB and Twitter users with a clicking competition. This method encourages the fans or followers to pay attention to the Facebook posts and tweets put out by the company. The company then has the ability to show product advertisement or messages on the contest age as well.
We are finding from the small user base that we currently have that it is addicting, exciting, and promotes enthusiastic conversation on the contest chat board. The unique approach that First2Click employs towards promoting brands and products to social communities provides the following benefits: Increase Brand Exposure, Stimulate and engage social communities, easily and regularly interact w/social community, Grow social communities (More Likes, More Friends, More Follows, etc.), and Increase sales
