Brett – I appreciate your kind words and unfortunately it is never too late. Although it’s been a while, Dad’s passing is still fresh in our minds and hearts. So thank you for your condolences. Sharing this was part of my therapy as I had never had to experience anything this painful before.

Hi Debra,

It seems I’m a little late on sending my condolences, I just came across your blog a few months ago. I’m sorry for your loss and, in reference to losing a part of your personal brand I beg to differ. I think it’s really important to deviate from the “normal” social media posts once in a while, it shows some realness for lack of a better term. Everyone goes through these types of things and I commend you for being courageous enough to share it with your viewers.

Laura – writing the post was another step in the healing process. It will take quite a few more but the pages in this chapter keep turning. Thanks for your support over the last couple of months.

Shama – I’m hopefully going to get back on some type of regular schedule soon. I was extremely close to my Dad and very much like him. I need to carry on his legacy through my work. Thanks for the encouragement.

My deepest condolences. I am never quite sure what to say when a loved one leaves us. My personal belief is that we all end up meeting at the end of the day.

Hey Deb,

This was a very nice post – very personal and very real. I think showing the business world a little bit of your inner self and innermost thoughts shows people just another reason to embrace you. We’ve known each other for 6 years now… no loss of sparkle here. =)
