Hi Dan,

Sorry for the late reply.

People who are logged into Facebook as a user can create Facebook pages. The fact you create the page doesn't associated it with your personal profile. Your personal profile and that Facebook page you created aren't tied together - you however, are the admin of the page you created. Others can be made an admin but the page is not associated with their personal profiles either. I've created about 20 Facebook pages but my personal profile is not associated with them in any way, including my own Facebook Page!

Does this help?

Hello Debra

Still confused..

How is it that GM for example created a Facebook Business "profile".. Was it created with a Personal Profile and then a Page? And if so how is it we can see the Business page but not the personal page..which is of course what we would also like to do

Hi,

I'm not sure what your question is, but we all have weaknesses! The entire package is what makes us unique. Usually your strengths are all that matters if you are pursuing your passion because you surround yourself with others who complement your strengths by being strong where you aren't. The best leaders are those who recognize this.

Thanks for stopping by!

Oh I have a question? Regarding a person's weakness. In my field the traits are necessary. I hate to admit but let me elaborate. I am horrible at time management and I could improve my organizational skills. But I feel like my strength out weigh weaknesses.

Well Andrew, have these email addresses been obtained via an optin form? If not, there aren't many email service providers that will allow you to upload your list unless it has been and you have proof.

I personally don't know how you will be able to mail to a million email addresses in any fashion as your ISP will shut you down if you send from your own server and you most likely will pay a lot for an email service provider if you in fact, do have permission from all these addresses.

Hi Chris,

I do understand that sales people are sensitive to their competitors scooping their contacts, and as I mentioned in the comments, I'm much more neutral on the topic because if I'm interested in someone, I can still find them through search. The key point is to not connect with a competitor that you don't trust. That's where people get sensitive. And hopefully LinkedIn will implement varying privacy features based on their tags and connection filters.

Thanks for the comment!

Would you give your competitor your complete business card file just because they asked for it? No. Doesn't mean you are anti-social. Just protecting all of the hard networking you have done. It is smart to make a competitor earn their network on their own. There should be a competitor flag so you can link with them but then be able choose if you want to share your contact list or not.

Hi Caroline,

If you like your Facebook Page, the posts will appear in your personal profile's news feed. It's supposed to work that way. When I post on the Masterful Marketing Facebook Page, I get the post in my personal news feed, just like other fans.

Is this what you are referring to?
